Want a better culture match? Our language-based assessment can help
Finding a role that truly fits your values, preferences and working style is hard, especially when job descriptions and interviews only show part of the picture. That’s why we created the Experienced Assessment: a quick, science-backed tool that helps match you with companies where you’re more likely to thrive.
This assessment uses language – your most natural form of expression – to understand how you work best, what motivates you, and what you need from an employer. The goal is to help connect you with roles where your experience is valued and your personality fits.
Here’s what to expect before you take the assessment:
You do not need to be a creative writer. This is not a writing test. There are no trick questions, no right or wrong answers – just insights you can use to match with companies that fit your style.
Just be honest and natural.
Traditional personality tests often ask you to rate statements like ‘I prefer fast-paced environments’ or ‘I like to take charge’. The problem is, most of us answer based on what we think we should want, or what sounds good in an interview – not what actually helps us thrive day to day.
The Experienced Assessment is different. It uses proven language-based science (known as psycholinguistics) to build a much clearer picture of your workplace values, mindset and preferences – by analysing your words and how you naturally talk about real situations.
Why language? Because the way you naturally express yourself says a lot about how you like to collaborate, make decisions, handle pressure, lead and contribute. It reflects what you need from a workplace, not what a workplace claims to offer.
You’ll be asked to write a short story and answer a series of questions intended to be open-ended and inquisitive. Behind the scenes, our custom-built system looks for patterns in how you describe situations: not your spelling or grammar, but things like tone, language style, perspective (‘I’ vs ‘we’), how you frame challenges and progress, and where you place your focus – all indicators of how you think, communicate and thrive in professional environments.
When you finish the assessment, you’ll receive personalised insights designed for practical use in your job search and career conversations, including:
This isn’t a score or label; it’s actionable insight you can put to work straight away.
We’ll also use your profile to look out for roles that align with your style and experience.
Backed by psycholinguistics – and real results
The Experienced Assessment is built on proven psychology and psycholinguistics, and the science is fascinating.
Here are a few examples of how language predicts compatibility, performance and outcomes:
Put simply, language is one of the strongest indicators of mindset, collaboration style and cultural fit. That’s why it’s at the heart of how we help you find the right match.
If you want to improve your chances of finding a role where you feel energised, respected and understood, the Experienced Assessment could be the difference between ‘just another job’ and work that finally fits.
